@dropzone is your tire carrier custom or did you just buy the carrier and mount it to your trail gear bumper?

The only issue I had with my trailgear bumper was mounting it. The previous owner had welded a custom ghetto-booty fab bumper on the inside of the frame, After a day of grinding, I got it mounted.

Plans are to add a tire carrier with the tire mounted in the middle and rotopax on either side.

Looking good. Did you do any additional bracing or did you use the 4 mounting bolts?

Currently my rear bumper has just the 4 mounting holes. The additional bracing is sitting in the garage.

OP- If you plan on modifying it for a tire carrier, it will need to be cut, cleaned up and fabbed. I'd recommend trying to find a reputable shop that was willing to do the whole kit-n-caboodle up front and design/integrate the swing out.

The last bumper I help build and fab. I will have to dig out the last pictures of it as we made some small changes. We added a small stinger across the top of it to protect the lights and a 18000lb warn electric winch from a max pro. Also fabed up a stack and strait pipe from a old 1st gen MRAP.

I updated the picture so you can see the small stinger. One of my guys SPC Crider worked as a welder prior to the military and was one heck of a welder. I have to give him credit.
