Tps Help Quick

which connector and pins do i jumper for the "timing test jumper" mentioned in this http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks/TPS/index.shtml
i have a 22re in a 91 runner

I assume you're referring to this step?
"To check whether the adjustment was successful start the engine and insert the timing test jumper, if the idle speed decreases audibly it is working normally"

Look around your ignition coil...somewhere possibly between there and the AFM on the fender well. There should be some dummy plugs. Two yellow ones and two green ones...plastic. Of the green, one will have two female terminals. Jump those with a paper clip.

Yours may be different, but that's how it is on my '86. Figure it wouldn't hurt to throw it out as a possibility.

nah, .. not if he's got my Electronic setup. Next to the main relay box near the intake. There should be a check connecter there (gray). If you look on your hood you might get lucky and get two arrows conveniently pointing to them. if you still need the help, i can go pop the hood.

91 has a later style test plug..

The test connector is attached to the fuse box. It has a little flip off lid...

Jumper T and E1.
Positions are marked on the flip off lid..
