Either your driving expenses or the freight costs would cost more than the frame.

Yea I tried to post in the wanted section but it wouldn't let me. An the frame that's under my truck is OK to drive but not worth of sas

For the most part. But there are some significant differences between years.

Of note, 84-88 frames have the last 2 body(bed) mount holes at the rear drilled in a different location than 93-95 frames. I don't have any information on where those holes would be on a 89-92 frame, but I'd assume they'd be the same as 93-95(since the body style changed in 89, and remained essentially the same through 95).

Notice the location of the rear body mounting holes labeled J and j on the 88 4WD regular cab SWB PU frame below. And their distance from holes H and h(H-J or h-j) as 314mm(12.36")


Notice those same holes and their relative distances from each on the 93 4WD regular cab SWB PU frame below. H-J/h-j is +100mm comparitively, at 414mm(16.30")


So any similar model 84-95 regular cab SWB PU frame should work(even if you had to drill a couple new body(bed) mount holes). But I've also noticed that the horsecollar crossmembers look different between 84-88 and 93-95. The exhaust mount and e-brake cable bracket aren't identical. What difference that might make...I don't know.

It's also worth mentioning that if the frame's not from a model with the same engine, it's probably not going to have the same transfer case crossmember(since the transfer case usually isn't the same for a 4 cyl. and a V6). But you could swap your old crossmember to another frame(if it's still good).
