Seriously, these guys are selling the kit for $1300, everybody else lists it at $1900. Why so cheap?

Okay, now the price has jumped $500 to $1800 for some reason, more of a median price I guess. I enquired about the kit to these guy twice on their site and got absolutely no response.

If anyone still cares, poly performance allows you to get the LT kit, Coil Shocks, and other goods all on one page so you can have it all shipped together. This is the site for the gen II kit.

Also I'm planing to do this kit in the future and really the only concern i have is if i can take out the starter with a shock tower in the way. I have a 3.0 v6

Just when I get this out of my system and relegated to back-burner / "when the rich uncle gets out of the poor house" status...

i take back everything, just re-read through the thread, its all in there

no idea on price, fabrication always brings its issues. measure ten times, tack weld, remeasure, then make final decisions(granted, that would mostly just come down to the shock hoops, or, depending on what you're doing for the rear suspension).

However, the only thing you are really looking at, is considering that what you are getting is hardware. you'll have to figure in shocks(and again, the rear end).

bbuutt, anways, only really thing to be 'warned' about would be considering that the heim joints, i uniballs as they tend to call then in this scenario in place of the ball joints will wear much faster than the ball joints because they are exposed. hhoowever, i have seen boots that cover the joints, which would extend their life greatly. otherwise, thats pretty much it.

It will depend on what 2wd kit you get and with what options.
I would highly recommend getting the billet cross shafts unless you're going with the heim upper arms. Also getting the king kong steering would be a good idea if budget allows but its not needed.

Like Swansen said, the shocks and shock hoops are something that needs to be though about with this too. No one makes a bolt on shock hoop for the 2wds like whats made for the 4x4s and running shocks off the stock upper mount isnt an option.
Nothing really to be warned about. These kits have been around for years and are pretty strong and well built.

yep, keep in mind, as was mentioned in the thread, these really aren't 'kits' in the typical sense, you are basically getting control arms and spindles(depending on kit). so you have to figure in all of the extra's to complete the installation.

like Robert said, steering upgrades are nearly a must, especially if you really intent to use the suspension(anything other than mild use) or just expect to replace all those components often enough.
