Torque spec - 2nd gen oil drain plug
Ok, maybe I missed it searching, but I can't find this info anywhere except for the 3rd gen.
I've always just tightened it snug with a socket wrench, but decided maybe I should know the spec. To my surprise it's not in the FSM or anywhere it seems.

I always just snug it down with a box wrench. No need to get too much torque on that bolt, they have a habbit of getting tighter up as the miles go by.

if it's not in the FSM, then I don't think there is a spec torque...
It's like an oil filter... go ahead and crank that bad boy down, the harder you put it on, the harder it will be to get off... especially when you don't have anything but your hand to get it off...
Just snug them down very good...

i think i recall it being something like 13 ft lbs. but dont quote me on that. i just snug the plug up and give it a 1/4 to 1/2 turn to make sure its good.
