To run the wider 12.5's there is a bit more trimming involved and you may need wheel spacers, not to mention a larger footprint which will be harder on the stock IFS and steering components. I've got the small OME lift and I'm gonna run the 33x10.5 BFG's MT.

i had 33x12.5x15's on 15x8 rims with 4" backspacing and on a stock setup it rubbed in the front, i'd get new rims and bj spacers if you want to run them

Usually the rule of thumb is 4" more or less than the width of the rim. FYI, you may want to do a search before asking simpler questions like these. There are litterally thousands of posts to this question, and members get pretty tired of seeing the same question. It's just what I have read.

You can fit that tire on that rim, may have to look around for a shop that will do that for you, as it is pushing things a bit. You'll also have some trouble finding a compromise on tire pressure to get even wear as the center fo the tread will want to bulge outwards and wear faster. And yes, a 33x10.50 will be a better fit on the stock rim and will be easier to fit under the truck (less trimming or loft required).

like all also be buying some rims as well mainly all i want to know is if if i hade a 15x8 rim could i fit 33x12.50 on the truck cause i heard before that u can

Well, I would hold off doing this size of tire if you dont have a good flow of money comming
When you do it, you will want to lift to get rid of the rubbing that you will have. And then you will want to re-gear to regain the lost power from that size meats.
go with a 33x10.50 - if you really want the wide tire, you will need some lift to get away with minor trimming. A small suspension or body lift should help.
Im running 33x12.50" on a 15x8.5" rim with 3.5" backspacing, I rub pretty good with a 3" body lift.
