Timing chain rattle or what ? Help !!!

OK, when I start up my rig in the morning (95 4runner 4x4 3.0) I hear this noise for about 2 sec's. It sound to me like the valves untill the oil comes up. As I said, it only happends at a cold start or if the rig sits for 3 hours of over night. If I shut it down after I start it, AND START IT RIGHT BACK UP AGAIN, NO NOISE IS THERE.

My questin is, could this be the timing chain (SKIRT SLAP) making this noise at a cold start up flapping around for 2 sec's. And if so, is any harm being done?
I had a new chain put in about 20K ago as I had my HG's done due to a bad exhust valve. But it made the noise before I had any work done to it as well.

Any help please.

You did, huh? Hope they topped off the blinker fluid while they were at it.

Its normal. They all do that for a sec till the oil gets to everything. Don't worry about it
