timing belt
ok so my water pump was leaking on my truck and I decided to replace it myself and and do the timing belt as well and at first I was leary of doing it myself but after I did it it wasnt so bad it was actually one of the easiest things I have done on my truck and I am in pressed with the results it runs and drives better than I thought a 3.0 could with 223,000 miles on it and because of the imaculent improvement I gonna continue to do what I can to get better performence

Sweet, You should do a writeup or somthing. Mise is due soon and I was hoping to tacle it but I would need a good write-up. The directions in my Chiltons manual are poop

Water pump and T-belt "easy" on a 3.0?????!!!
I've heard that is a PITA!??
Congrats on doing it yourself and happy w/the results. I just ordered the T-kit for my truck w/the steel guides. Got the water & oil pump as well. 22RE though.
