Tie Rod Question

So I just received my inner and outer tie rods in the mail today. My question is the outer tie rod has a metal clamp around the rubber boot to prevent the grease from spewing out.

...but the inner tie rod does not

What prevents the grease from coming out of the inner tie rod?

Once its tight against the relay rod, it creates a seal. That is how they came from the factory. The onme without the zerk fitting most closely resembles a factory part.

The "onme"?

I don't want a photo of that.

Looks like to me the outter is pre-greased and doesn't have a zerk in it... The company must seal it totally so it won't leak out.

If it was mine I would drill it out and put a zerk in.
