Thrown Rod

Well i threw a rod in my 93 xtracab 3vze yesterday. The truck has absolutely no rust and is overall in great shape other than the engine and the paint. I am going to be getting a new motor to put in it and was wondering how much work it would be over just putting another 3vze to put a 3.4 in it. I thought i saw where you could use the original tranny and all that you had to change were the motor mounts and the computer but other than that they would interchange... is this correct or what else would i need to complete the swap?

I believe the motor mounts are the same but the ecu and wiring is different. You should check out the engine swaps thread. Lots of great write ups about the 3.4 swap
