Thinking of a 2nd gen to 3rd swap

My 86 toyota crawler is pretty beat body wise and the cage is all poop pipe which is extremely heavy and kindof sucks for protection. I'm having to slowly go through this rig as the p/o didn't really do much matienece and beat the thing hard. It's getting to the point where if I have a bad roll the cage will probably be toast along with body. I'm not ready to give up on yotas just yet and make the switch to a jeep on tons.

So my plan is to buy a 1990 3rd gen single cab and build it safely and properly so I don't have to deal with this stuff anymore, I know the turbo motor ,trans, tcase's will all swap in easily and and go without problem. But I'm trying to keep the heater along with making sure I don't get in over my head with a wiring mess. Would the swap be really hard with all the components that come with a turbo motor? or should I just go to the 4.3?

any help would be great
