This "thing" fell out of my truck and I have no idea what it is.

To make a long story short I hit a huge bump a few days ago out at the job site and hit hard enough to slam the front end down on the bumpstops. It was a hard hit. Now I have a crazy vibration at 60mph or faster. So I crawled underneath to see what might have been damaged and this thing was laying on top of the skid plate on the front.

Any ideas?

Can you enlarge the picture? I can barely see it. From what I think it might be, is it the little bracket under the alternator?

Edited: I said alternator but Slacker called it right. Thanks Slacker.

Hmmm, sorry about the small pictures. I thought they would be larger. Thanks guys! I'll see if I can go about putting it back in there.
