I have the proper resistance between, except for THA-E2. I couldn't get continuity at all. 2 days ago my 3vze was running very ĊĊĊĊty after the new engine install. Would idel around 4-500 rpm and as soon as I gave it gas it would stop revving at 1k and bounce back down. I could see the VAFM bouncing back and forth while it idled, I don't know if this is right. The one time it let me rev I got it to 3k before it shut down. Now it wont start again. It kind of runs, but only with the starter going. The engine won't turn itself. Is there anything else i can do to test the VAFM?

I forgot to mention that you can here the VAFM shutting randomly while its trying to start, and when you stop turning the engine over, you can hear it slam shut.

ok well it will open and close randomly while trying to start, and slam close when you stop. That is because it is spring loaded, and the motor is not pulling constant vacum until it is running. The open and closing is in relationship to the intake valves open and closing i.e. they are not running fast enough to keep it open constantly until the motor runs.
