Swapping leaf springs (interchangeability)...

I picked up a set of rear leaf springs from a last gen pickup (89-95), that I plan on using in my 94 extracab 4cyl. I never saw the vehicle that they came out of, but was told that they were pulled out in favor of a lift kit. They look a little different from the ones that are in my 94, so I'm wondering if they'll work?

Heres a couple pics...

They have these bumpers on one end that my current springs do not...

They also do not have a thru-bolt here on these brackets...

They appear to be interchangeable in every other way. So if they do work, which way goes toward the front?

Thanks guys!!

I think the pic is a little deceiving, but i went and measured them... and sure enough, one is almost 1/2' longer htan the other. They are identical in every other way, though.

the length difference is probably due to a little bit of sagging on that leaf (like a big fat guy drove the truck it's whole life LMAO)because when you compress a leaf spring then it will get longer because of the arch.

they look like ordinary stock toyota leafs to me LOL!!

and yes, the shorter half (measure from the center bolt) goes towards the front just like yoterr said!

the springs are the same overall length, the bottom flat leaf on the right spring is about 1/2 longer. The spring on the right is closer to the camera, and somehow the angle that I took the pic at distorted things.

...or my truck's gonna sit really goofy when I get everything in!
