Swapped out my A/T for a M/T

Swapped out my A/T for a 5 speed last weekend. Drove it to work last week and it was a great improvement!!!
Wired up the 4WD and reverse lights tonight. All that is left is to wire the neutral safety switch at the clutch and then the clutch cancel switch in the dash. Oh, and rip the A/T OD bulb out of the dash.
I want to thank this great site for all of the helpful information needed to accomplish this task.

Phessor

P.S: Anyone need a good A340F with a VF2A transfer case????

Have you noticed any better mileage? More power?

I did the swap too. Massive improvement on mpg's and power, but I just hate to drive manuals in town and kinda wish I would've worked on the auto a little more before giving up on it

I did the pedal assembly awhile back and that took a few hours. I finished off the transmission swap in about five hours by myself. Then the wiring took another hour.

I have noticed better acceleration and improved throttle response. I can climb the hills going to work better as well.

I have not checked the mileage yet, that will be another day.
