supercharged 3.4 in 3rd gen

i am having issues under boost and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. because the 3.4 is not designed for my truck i was wondering if the factory fuel pump can handle the demands of the charger.

i am running a secondary fuel but am just wondering if any of you guys happen to know about the factory fuel pump.

I think most guys go up to a walbro fuel pump...which one I have no idea.

I know "Slacker" has some 3.4 with supercharger swap threads that has the answer to your question.

I use the OE in my trekker , with no problems with fuel supply at all . I also had a bit of "ping" with 92 octane , so I now use 94 . havent had any problems at all , but i'm also not driving it every day ! .

walbro is your best option for fuel supply , and what is recommended by URD and others

the oem 3.0 fuel pump is not good enough. I ran it for a while but found out quickly it was maxing out just to keep up with the 2.3 oem pulley. Right after I upraded to a walbro 190 my afr's got richer almost a full point.

my afr's are outrageous right now! I'm anywhere from 14 to 16 not in boost.

is any 190 walboro the same thing? just making sure, because they also say some sort of make or model.

so you are saying to use an external pump instead of mounting a new 190 inside of the tank?

very nice. my biggest difference is that i am bored out a little and that i am running methanol. but it only kicks in when there is boost just like the 7th. the methanol can't keep my afrs low because the truck itself has a stupid high afr before boost starts.

i will probably order the walboro 190 in a few minutes

the only 190 pump is Item #: GSL-391 and 400-939 that is an inline pump.

all of the pumps on this page are 255's i dont think that is necessary right? like i said, i am not running the 7th injector, i am running methanol injection so i dont need to push that extra injector.

So? Low load isn't taxing the pump and those AFRs are lean to improve fuel economy. What exactly are "issues under boost?" What does the AFR do under boost with methanol injection?
