sun roof not catching

sun roof not catching
the motor works for my sunroof but its not opening or closeing. i can slide it open and close with my hands but the sun roof glass isnt leveled with the top roof of my car. i wanna atleast get it closed all the way before the ran comes. any idea how to get it working right? thanks
