a sudden loss of power

I drove over a friends house and everything was fine, i jump back in the truck and i had no power, it felt like i was towing something. it idels fine, but if i take it past a quarter throttle it bogs down.

I've replaced the coil, cap, rotor, plugs and fuel filter. and the cat isnt blocked. and now im all out of ideas. the only thing i did diffrent was i fill about half tank with AMPM gas.

Does anyone know what migh have happened?

It's Arco gasoline. People have had mixed results with that company and it's product (same could be said for others). So, it's possible that it's bad gasoline. Try an additive like Seafoam, Chemtool, etc. and see if it helps. Then, on the next fill up, use a different brand....like the one you're used to.

if you have the clutch in will it rev?
because this is what mine is doing if i run 2nd and 3rd gear to 5k it normally clears up. thus far i have tried the tps, vmaf, egr, cat, fuel filter, and the startup temp sensor. i took it to my local dealer for the 50n recall so i had them look in to it they where unsure thought a tune up and new fuel injectors whould fix it. i did a tune up about 15k before this started and havent had a chance to try fuel injectors.
Good luck.

Sounds like you lost a connection (i.e. electrical) somewhere.

stealership is trying to break it off in your behind by replacing the injectors.... mucho dinero my friend. send them to cruizn performance if they're worth sending. mine is losing power right now, i too have the 3.0, but my exhaust is original and i have 241k miles on it so... yea. good luck, keep us posted.

im going to check the cyliner compression tonight, but it feels like its not getting enough air, toda i took the tubing off and didnt find anything like a forign body in the intake or manifold. Im thinking this is a computer problem more then a mechanical problem
