Strange brake issue, 89 4runner.
89 4runner, 22re, 5 speed, 4x4.
Noticed that every once in a while (like every 100th time) when I hit the brakes there was a grindy feeling from the pass front tire. Checked the pads and they are great. Last week went off road for a while and noticed that when I'd hit the brakes on gravel pretty hard that the pass front would lock up but the other three wouldn't. Bled the brakes this morning while the paint dried on the visor (did I mention I got a visor?) and the pass front had air in it for almost two full pumps of the pedal. None of the others, to include the LSPV, had air in them. Now I've got great brakes but can't figure out why the brake assembly that had air in it would lock up, I thought they wouldn't work with air in there??
Am I just confused or is this a symptom of bad things to come.
Oh and I got the fender pulled and holes cut for the snorkel while the epoxy was drying on the visor as well.
Might actually finish this truck sometime this year.

If you haven't done any brake work lately or removed anything from the lines, sounds like you've got something fixing to go out as air is being introduced into your system.
