Straightening a frame

So a friend at school rear ended someone going about 35 and needed a new pass side fender, new bumper, and new knuckle. They took it in for alignment today and was told that the frame was bent. I'm assuming that its just that pass side corner but is there any easier way to straighten it other than dramatic suspension replacement or going to a frame shop? thanks for the help

I have heard of people straightening a slight bend with a tree and a comealong. I guess it depends how bad it is.

Ya Im not sure how bad it is at this point. I think it may be just that corner put posibly the entire fram warped but I would think that takes some serious force. If we use to winches on opposite corners will that work or what?

Mine took 2 trees and some considerable effort with a 10,000 lb. rated come-along, it was bent "bad" IMO. Needed pulled out just about an inch, which don't sound like much, but trust me it is. 2 words, box frame. You'll have a real good idea how much force it takes to bend one once you reef down super-tight on that come-along, stop and check the frame and see it hasn't budged more than a millimeter. Bigtime backache lemme tell ya. But done is done, as I always say.

And now I got the vaccine for that, The Sonoran Steel Early IFS Truss.
