A stock look for a Winch Mounted Bumper!

First of all, let me state that this is my everyday driver and not meant to be a rockcrawler(already have one). With that said. I wanted something that would blend in well and have somewhat of a stock look to it. I looked at all the winch bumpers out there, and even though they looked nice for a rockcrawler, it wasn't really what I had in mind. Also, the winch is a Warn HS9500i that I had left over from my Ford Bronco that I sold a couple of years ago. I do like that the fact that the 9500 is a complete unit and don't have to deal with mounting the black box for the control wire. This winch mount can be installed by yourself, if you have a welder and know how to weld for less than $200! That's right! less than $200... Okay, I don't have a welder and don't know how to weld, soooooo I took my 88 Pickup down to Offroad Solutions(Arvada,Colorado) and had Mike and his team weld mine on($350), and they did a great job. Here are the pics......
Winch Mount came from Trail Gear Inc. $129.00
Winch Front Frame Brace(a must) from Front Range Offroad Fab. $39.00

Apologies for the eight year necropost but I'm wondering if anyone has done this with any luck. I just got the winch tray and would like to copy this. My question is regarding the stock bumper.

It's obviously cut in half and therefore can't be bolted up in the original way. Any speculation on what they did? I'm assuming they just fabbed up some brackets to hang the wings to the side. Any other constructive ideas? Thanks.

looks like:
1. activate sawzall!
2. mount winch
3. duct tape/weld remaining parts

if you remove your bumper and valance, you may get an idea of what's available to mount to. But i'd suspect they tied it into that carrier, welding on some custom tabs. There's some carriage bolt heads by the turn signal that are not typically there.

not like the stock bumper is more than for looks anyway. i bent mine trying to push a driveway gate open. this is clean. i like it. go for it!
