I have gained some money and have around 2K to spend. Im thinkng of buying a locker for the rear or a winch, also new 32" M/T's not sure what brand to buy (leaning toward pro comp), and some KC fog lights. Can u guys give me some advice on lockers, winches, and tires? mainly im trying to figure between locker or winch. rightnow its open diff front and back, 22re 5spd, std cab short box. o and ifs.

I run an Aussie locker, great buy for the money you can install it yourself (check out zuk's site: http://www.gearinstalls.com/). If it is a DD, don't worry about a front locker
also add to your list:
-Rock Sliders
-for a front winch you are gonna need some sort of front mount-sources: trail-gear.com
addicted off road, badlands bumpers, dave's off road performance, 4xinnovations

tires: might look at tire you can get local instead of ordering (not sure if you have pro-comp close) just for a road hazard.
-I like my Toyo Open country MT's.
-I think you are on the right track keeping the tire size mild so you don't end up needing to re-gear right away...

Im buying Cepek 31" tires tomorrow for 210 a tire, ballanced and installed for 1100 canadian. better than BFG prices and they are really good tires. then im thinking i will go with a new front bush guard from ALLPRO and install some fog lights. my plan is to wheel the snot out of it this way untill i have the money to have her SAS on 36" tires.

For the winch, I got mine at Costco dot com for 395 shipped to my door. Mile Marker PE8000, I'm not sure about shipping to Canada though.

I paid $149 per 33x12.5 Hercules Durango, right from Hercules. You might want to keep looking for tires! $210 is high!

210$ a pop for 31 inch tires? Keep looking. The ones I have on my DD/ccamping/wheeling rig cost me right at 80$ a tire.

yah i live in canada and our dollar suck real bad so things are a little expensive over here. O and i dont want some cheap tire because i drive my truck everyday and want a good tire i can depend on. u know what im talking about?

Yeah I understand. I only mentioned the Treadwrights since I've got about 10,000 miles on mine, they are inexpensive, wear like iron and are pretty darn good off road. I DD mine to work and back, to the store etc and take it out on the weekends for wheeling and camping. The only thing I didn't like was wheeling in really slick ice/snow but I could have probably aired down and done a lot better. Treadwright also makes a BFG MT/R looking tire that would do better than the OTR's that I got but they were flat out of stock when I went to order them.

I live in Ontario Canada. That's why I suggested the Durangos, but you can also purchase MT Claws and Goodyear MTR's from Hercules. You should have on near you somewhere.
