1992 pickup 3vze engine

Things look better after seafoam, and really warming up the truck.

Looks like an egr problem since the NO is really high. I suspect the egr modulator valve since I cant get any vacuum on the egr side of it even though there is vacuum on the throttle body side.

Couple questions.

Where is the Coolant Temperature Sensor on the 3vze ?
Looks like the PO managed to screw up the vacuum lines. Does anyone have a good picture of where the vacuum lines go to the vsv's on the passenger side?

Dave

I can't seem to find any information about the middle vsv it goes to a module with 3 ports on the

Dave,
I had an '89 mustang that failed due to egr valve and instead of getting a new one I tried spraying it out with wd-40 figuring it was just clogged. Sure enough that fixed it so it may be worth a try.

The egr works. If I apply vacuum direcly to the egr it stalls the engine. So that part at least works, the question left is why the vacuum from the TB doesn't get to the egr.

Thanks though

Dave
