stick in h3 bulb into clear signal housing
wonder if this has been attempted by anyone. i just bought these signal lights off ebay

when i get these lights, im going to stick the signal bulb into my clear corners then put in h3 bulbs into the signals. what do you guys think?

i was thinking that to. maybe just purchase 35watt hid bulbs because i already have extra ballasts and try that. hopefully it doesnt melt

i just bought fog lights and compared the reflectors to my h4 headlight housing. the h4 one looks pretty reflective. the fog lights have this cheap reflector crap which are prolly going to melt for sure using 100watt bulbs. i bet these signals have the same kind of reflector thingie as the foglights. it really doesnt matter to me if they dont work well. just will call it a failed experiment hhaa

The optics on the aftermarket turn signal assemblies are garbage, and it's not worth trying to make fog lights out of them.
HID is just going to blind everyone with the glare.

the hids in my headlights just blind everyone on the road, so now i resort to using halogen high beams everywhere i go at night,only using the hids during the day for looks. the highbeams arent even bright at all.

If you wanted to keep the HID in your retrofitted H4 headlamp, you might want to try and look into a set of these.
No Cutting Retrofits
The only thing I have no idea on is how much room there is in the 4x6 style assembly as far as fitting these in. I have a feeling there isn't enough room.
I'm planning on going with the Hella conversion kit and then getting the Hella Xenon +30% Long Life bulbs for now, simply b/c I don't want to invest the money into the HID retrofit.
I will say though, once you have projector based HID, you won't ever go back. My daily has it, and when I drive my truck @ night, it's like someone is just shining two flashlights out the windows. Granted, my sealed beam units look like the might still be the OEM ones.

If you want the look of HID, you could always add some LED city lights into your housings by drilling a small hole, adding a hyperwhite LED and hooking them up to your running lights.
If you wanted to keep the HID in your retrofitted H4 headlamp, you might want to try and look into a set of these.
