Steering wheel jumping back and forth while driving

I went through a mud hole and when I was driving down the road at about 40-50 the steeering wheel started bouncing back and forth really hard. It also veers to the left a bit now. What could I have knocked while going through te mud rut? I'm going to take it to the alignmet shop tomarrow.

Mud stuck to the inside of your rim? Bent rim? Lost wheel weight? Just to start.

This is why I laugh when I see all the high school kids drive through these mud holes on the side of the road.

Definitely dried mud on the inside of the rims...
I got a bunch of mud dried in my rims last year, and at any speed over 30 the truck would hop a little..
EDIT: uhh.... Why would you think it was a good idea to drive through a MUD HOLE at 40-50 miles per hour?

HAHAHA, and I thought those types were just in my old town where I just moved away from...

but yeah, mud inside the wheels is the first thing that came to my mind as well

wash 'em out and then see if it's still there

but if she still wobbles, you may have knocked your alignment out somehow

just as a fore-warning though, as much fun as mud is to play in, and as good as an idea it may seem like at the time, let it be known that mud WILL kill your truck... slowly but surely... especially if you don't take the measures to clean it up emmediately after playing in it...

don't say no one ever warned you...

Technically we all gave you helpful advice. Why did you hit a mudhole at 40-50mph?

You might not be a "highschool guy", but your comment is rather childish. If your comment was aimed at bleeder... helpful advice might not help you!!

If you think you are going to get nothing but "helpful advice" on every post, you'd probably be better off to sign up at http://www.toysrus.com/shop/index.js...goryId=2255956

That's MY helpful advice.
