Starting Problems

Hey Gang,
Brand new here. Just purchased a 1991 4Runner 2wd v6 with 151,000 miles for $1000. Great price for super clean runner. It has a new starter, alternator, plugs, wires, distributor, coil and ignitor and it will still not start now that all that is replaced...Any suggestions? I tried pulling the alternator fuse, looked like it was fried and it just disintegrated as I tried to pull it. Any suggestions in getting it out as well. Any help would be great. Thanks!!

It turns over just fine. Had the battery charged and checked...all is good there too. Seems to be no fire...

Was it running when you bought it? Does the rotor go round when you crank it?

The alt fuse has nothing to do with the vehicle starting it would only affect the charging of the battery.
First thing to do is to check

Spark- pull a wire off the plug pull plug put back in to wire and sit plug against block(grounded surface) and turn key You should see a spark. carefull how you hold it or it will light you up

Fuel- easiest way is to turn key on a few times and crack the cold start injector line loose. You should see fuel squirt out for a second. fuel pumps are a common failure.

I delt with a no start and had a hell of a time until I finally found the problem.
Let us know what you find on these above items
