Hello all,
so the vehicle in question is the trusty ole 89 toyota 4-runner with a 22re. The starter has been giving me some issues where it sounds like it doesnt have enough power to turn the engine. It doesnt seem to be as bad when its cold, but I dont think it's either the battery (replaced 2 months ago) or the alternator, (reading a constant 14.4 volts). My thought was possibly the solenoid, but I thought when the solenoid went out it would click as it tried to engage the starter and not have enough power to engage it. With the truck as it is right now there is no clicking, it will just either not turn over at all no clicking at all, or turn the engine very slowly. Any thoughts? Thanks
