SS Cat Back for '95 DLX
The patient is a '95 DLX 22RE 4x4 Xtra cab
Except for a K&N, she's stock.
I'm the original owner.
93k miles
Timing chain, oil & water pumps replaced last year - Engnbuilder stuff
Drive train is good, body has some superficial rust.
Needs shocks, bushings, etc. I know crap about suspension.
The exhaust is rusted out again. I'm tired of cheap crap aluminized steel systems that only last 2-3 years. I've only found a SS cat back at LCE for ~$400. Anyone have anywhere else I can look?
Since this old girl weighs in at a trim 5700 lbs and never could get out of her own way on hills, I'm also going to install a header. I've narrowed it down to LCE or Thorley. A lot of what I've read was older threads. Anyone have any new info to share, or is it pretty much a wash?
We'll see how this goes and then I may change the cam and maybe the head.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
