Hi all. I have an '88 p/u standard cab with a bench seat. I know someone who will sell me some SR5 seats out of a second gen 4runner. Does anyone know if they will work with some minor mods and do I have to use a different seat belt set up as well????

Seat belts are seat belts and should be fine.

I changed a '91 reg cab bench seat to 2nd gen 4R buckets. Driver's inner belt will have to share it's attachment point with the driver's seat rear inner bolt. No changes to seat belts themselves.

Sr5 fit in my 88 fine, used stock seat belts. Only mod was a slight elongation of the seat mount hole.

which holes need to be elongated? what about a center console? any ideas besides the ammo box mod?

The mount holes in the frame of seat, needed to be elongated a bit. 3-4 mm.
