SR5 Gauge Needle

How do I get the speedometer needle off of my Non-SR5 Cluster so I can put the odometer into my SR5 cluster? Or how can I roll my milage back on my SR5 cluster? Any help is appriciated!-Thanks

Just pull on it and it should come right off. At least thats how the tachs work. Mine fell off the tach in transit from Japan for my diesel.

spin the millage back on the one you dont need and see of it works. Then do it to the one you want to keep and your good. I know you can remove the ticker somehow. I saw a wirte up on it here somewhere.

Take it to a speedometer repair place...or any shop that specializes in that stuff...they'll know how to do it, or can point you in the right direction to have it done. On the speedometer needle, I believe you aren't able to just pull it off like the tach or other gauges...it keeps people from rolling back the odometer

The needle comes right off, just grab it with your fingers and pull.

use two butter knives - one on each side the "pry" it up gently. Dont pull too hard or it will pull the shaft off the spring (did that to a VW one).

Bend the lock tabs back gently and set the ODO to what you want to (I had to roll mine UP by 200K!). Make sure ALL The numbers are PREFECTLY aligned or yer gonna regret it. The lower numbers are less important to get straight as they will self correct when the odo rolls over the next digit up.
