sr5 4runner dual cases
Im going to be puttin duals on my runner soon and was lloking at where I was gunna locate the shifter and I looks like it would be right where the rear window and wiper switches are, anyone got a good idear on that?

The part the switchs mount to pops out of the console. I relocated the rear window up/down button to where the clutch cancle button was, and got rid of the rear defrost button (didnt work anyway). The wiper, and window lock switches got moved to the epty spots right above the radio. I just rerouted the harness and extended where needed

Not to hijack, but how are you dealing with the rear driveshaft? In my extended cab pickup, the ds runs back, then down. Do you shorten the part that runs back? I'd hate to lose that part of the ds, keeps it tucked up to the frame.

Ditch the whole thing get a 1 piece shaft. Or shorten the piece before the carrier. Depends on your rear flex/pinion angle.
