Squealing 94 22re

Hey guys I posted awhile back and wanted to follow up about a problem I've been having to see if you guys would know anything to help me out. Since I purchased this truck it has ran real well and haven't had too much problems but the one annoying problem I have is a squealing noise. The noise only happens when I am at a complete stop and I start out going in first gear it lasts for about 10 seconds then stops once I gain speed and shift into 2nd gear it seems to be coming from the front of the vehicle. I just had the truck in to my mechanic to do the timing chain and asked him to see if he knew what it was he did not thoroughly try and diagnose it but he thought it was either the throwout bearing, pilot bearing, or carrier bearing. How likley is it that one of these is the culprit the truck only has 50 k original miles on it and shifts fine its not that its affecting my truck so much as its annoying the you know what out of me any info or insight would be great thanks

did you check the belt on the alternator? its a common problem on all vehicles world wide, just melt some candle wax on the alvernator area and put the belt back on and it will never squeal again, or so im told, but ihad the same problem. and i changed te belt and tightend the belt and it still only happens when the engine is waming up to temp.

because you say that it only happends when you take off I would say that it is your throwout bearing slowing down without a load on it. When you release the clutch and the bearing stops doing its job it may be sqeeling as is slows down. The only thing is that it would do it everytime you change gears. Just my 2cents.
