some diamond plate work *****

So my rear bumper had 3 little rust spots. So i grinded sanded bondo'd and primed then decided it would be nice to thro some flash to the rear end of my truck. I also diamond plated my skid plate in front. Cost a total of 19$ for all the diamond plate. I also put some on the hitch.

I did screw it to the bumper with stainless screws then there was a little gap between the diamond plate and the real bumper so i got some window caulking and sealed it off. As for where i got it i got it from a metal fab market down the street from me. Its cheap if you go to there junk bin and see all the left over scraps. And That N means im a New driver. (18 years old) Ive never really been into diamond plate until now but i dont wanta over do it so i think this is all im going to do. It was just a cheap fix.

Its British Columbia,Canada...
Our provincial insurance company (we're private) makes all the new drivers with less than 3 years driving experience display an "N". Their normally bigger than that one, hes obviously cut his(which is illegal). Drivers with less than 1 year driving experience need to display a "L" for learner, and also need to be driving with a guardian or adult over the age of 25 and more than 5 years driving experience...

Yep, I rock the N I trimmed it the same way as you did aswell

Been stopped by a few cops (no tickets yet, woo) and they have never given me trouble about chopping it.

Pre-chop...

Anyways, diamond plate looks pretty good, gonna be a pain to polish that stuff after you get it all dirty

Gotta love when people turn the N sideways to make a Z. Bad arses right there. "Wuddup G-UNIT (...non-sensical moron-speak...) sick whip yo wid da Z on the back (more non-sensical garble)".

Oh yeah man! You can't make a big ol green N look cool... trimmed up is about as good as it gets

speaking of g-unit. Saw a douch in a escalade and his licence plate said " G-money" ....just no.

Looks ok but why would you put diamond plate on a skid plate?? I never understood why someone would put something that is designed to grip on something that is designed to slide over obstacles, not snag them...
oh well
