Some b@st@ard stole my exhaust supports!

I had been hearing a rattle from my exhaust, so I crawled under the truck today & found this:

Some @sshole had stolen both my rubber exhaust supports that hold up the CAT!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Stopped by NAPA & picked up a couple of new ones; had them on in 5 minutes~

I guess I should be happy they didnt' cut off the CAT....

how do you know they were stolen and didn't tear and fall off since they're 18yr old rubber? I'm sure if someone were to want to steal exhaust parts you wouldn't have a CAT anymore

They weren't 18 year old rubber; I replaced them last year~
They were there when I greased it last month.

I'm guessing you greased them and they fell off.
Or you didn't re-install them properly.

Oh well. Life happens.

I've seen lots of thieves clean up after themselves to delay you finding out you where robbed. Something probably spooked them part way through stealing your cat.

You are lucky you still have one. They may decide to return and finish as it's half done already. Might want to watch for that for a few days.

Yep! Passed MD emissions with NO CAT & NO WORKING EGR. Doesn't say much for the emissions folks around here....
