what all do i need besides the axle leaf springs and shackles

Everyone has to start somewhere.

If you wait to just wake up one morning and know all there is to know about a SAS... you'd be waiting a very long time.

I know you have to start somewhere, but that usually begins with researching the process, in which, answers are usually found.

Maybe I'm finally getting burnt out on multiple repeated commonly asked thread questions here.

Well, this isn't the newbie section, so technically, we could get away with tell him to do a search on the subject, and as Steve pointed out, there is a whole section of the forum completely dedicated to the subject...

All I know is that I have learned far more from the time spent reading and researching than I have from the (often misinformed) package answers that you often see.

If done the right way, an encouragement to search isn't a bad thing at all.

As do I ... the truth is that people who wheel a lot may need a SAS at some point, but that doesn't apply to 99.999% of the people who ask SAS questions...

I have yet to see a trail that is limited by the IFS before it is limited by my desire to minimize body/glass damage.
