Softer Ride and a little more travel?

I was just wondering if anyone had some advice on giving my 87 pickup a softer ride while adding longer travel. I can take care of the rear travel easy but i would like a much softer ride. I run in the dunes and beach a lot and up mountain roads that are potholed to all hell. It's still got the stock IFS. Actually everything is stock suspension wise. I wouldn't mind going up in height a little if thats what you advice calls for but my 33's do fit pretty well like the truck his so it's not a big deal.

Your sig says you have a 4" lift. Does the rear have blocks? If so, then I have a super idea for you

Oh No that was my old yota. My new one doesn't have a lift yet. In the future i plan on getting blazelands long arm kit and coilover conversion for the front but I would like something cheap to do for now so I can mob the dunes without the truck getting beat to all hell.

put in bj spacers, which allows you to relax the tbars to make them even softer, remove the swaybar, put on new shocks, like bilsteins, something with a high fade resistance, and thats all there is to cheap stuff, next cheaper step is blazeland..

So I'm going to be getting the BJ spacers from 4crawler here soon. But I was wondering where I can find the low pro bump stops and also what series bilsteins should I get. As well as what travel height.
