Smile So After a HG and TC.....

Engine started fine, within 2 minutes no thanks to my crapped out battery.
Replaced the HG, TC, Sprockets, Gaskets, Fuel inj. rings, adjusted the valve clearance, nice new oil and coolant and think I put it all back together fine, all I think I need to do now is adjust the timing....??

Sitting in the truck checking things out, I could not help but notice the "Check Engine" light was on.
Whats up with that??
And how do YOU time an engine?
Stock 22re

Thanks in Advance!

im no master, but that'll get you in the right direction with the CEL.
P.S. to jump the terminals, a paper clip comes in handy

How do I time an engine?

I pull out my timing light, disconnect the distributor's advance, and see what the timing is

@annoyingrob- please start a new topic regarding your question, and please include year, engine, carb / fuel injected, etc.
