Snorkel for the Runner

I have a 92 runner and I've been thinking of setting up a custom snorkel on it so I can drive through high waters with no problem when it comes up.

I was thinking of using some round pvc pipe for the the snorkel and some sort of custom tip I can make.

Has anyone done this on their runner? Any pics? Maybe some pics of a snorkel kit you installed?

Thanks

are you thinking about the other vents and things too, not just the intake? diff, trans, and crankcase vents.
other than that, go for it. water is hard on stuff hahaha

Your gonna lose some power with a snorkel. But you can drive through water thats up to your bumper just fine.

Eventually I was going to do the other things, but I was thinking the snorkel first.

I'm not 100% sure I want to put a snorkel on yet, too.

So what kind of power lose are we talking about?

You won't lose any power if you do the "deck plate mod" search it.
