When I inspected vehicles in NC was a smog county the rule was same year motor or newer. May be different in Cali. But seems most states follow Cali when it comes to emissions.

Ya, razed basically covered it all. My cousin did the same thing as you, and it was a pain to get it smogged. He eventually did, but paid alot of money and had some good friends to help him out
