Sleeve Yoke on Rear Drive Shaft

Sleeve Yoke on Rear Drive Shaft
1990 Extended cab pickup 4x4, MT, 3.0L V6.
I had a very bad vibration at 2300+ RPM, so I looked at the U-joints and I found the u-joint on the sleeve yoke (2-piece driveshaft) was in extremely bad condition. I pulled just the sleeve yoke off the driveshaft, while the truck sat on the ground (tires are chocked x 4) I had to replace the entire sleeve yoke and U-joint. Now I cannot get the sleeve yoke on the drive shaft so I can bolt it all back together. I need it to slide one more inch on the spline to mount the flange yoke to the third member.
Do I need to jack the rear up, flexing the suspension, to get this thing back together, or do I need to remove the entire driveshaft and reassemble it?

Is the spline sleeve new or used?
If used then the spline female needs to be cleaned out, Its impacted with old dried grease.
If you also remove the zerk the air and grease can be pushed out as the spline is slid together.
Make sure all the zerks are aligned from trans to diff.
