Slave cylinder looks like a pain in the....

I have a '92 Pickup, Xtra cab, with the 3VZ-E and R150F. My slave is leaking and clutch function is getting worse by the day, as the slave gets worse.

Anyway, when I was under there looking at the slave to see if it was leaking, it looked like it is a real pain in the a** to get the hydraulic line off of it.

Looks real tight against the tranny and looks like almost no room to get a line wrench in there, or any clearance to turn a wrench.

Anybody know what I'm talking about, or was I just looking at it the wrong way? Anybody ever come across any tricks to get a slave off of this tranny.

Really doesn't look fun, at least from the angle I was looking at it from.

Thanks.

I took one off a friends truck the other day in about 10 minutes and had the new one on in 20 minutes (due to bleeding the air out and such).

I just used a standard metric wrench (10mm, I think) and a socket, ratchet and extension for the mounting bolts..........nothing to it for me

Was that on the R150 behind a 3VZE?

Maybe I was just looking at it wrong, I'll take another look. Either way it's gotta get done.

Im not sure how different it is on a v6, but it took like 15 minutes from start to finish on my 4runner.

Yeah sounds like I just need to take another look at it and stop overthinking it...as usual.

Thanks.

Shouldn't be that hard to do. On my 22RE it's a 15 minute R+R including bleeding. And that's taking some time for beer breaks.
