Silly question: A.R.E. topper on a 1st gen 4runner?
Anyone have a clue whether an A.R.E. commercial topper (made for the short bed pickups) would fit on a first gen 4runner with the hardtop removed? It obviously wouldn't be a perfect fit, but I'm wondering how possible it would be...I've been getting some crazy ideas lately involving this matchup.
Please let me know if you've got access to a shortbed commercial ARE and want to take some measurements if it's even feasible with a little fab work.
