Good to hear(mostly) lol.. As questionable as SOME people think these are, I DOUBT the radiator is your issue. When I had overflow issues, it was my water pump. I think yours is newer, right? Maybe ANOTHER stat issue? (where it's just not opening ALL the way?)
ORRRRRRRRR, yes, the mud festival caking things, that could be some of it too, eh? lol. Are you sure on that though? When you clean it all away it's fine around town?

Yup, perfectly fine around town, if anything it runs cooler then my old one (which isn't saying much considering how bad the old one was) As far as the t0sat sticking, it does have a hole drilled into it for the whole temp overshoot deal, so doubt a sticking t-stat is causing the overflow issue. Water pump is as new as the engine. 18k miles and a little over two years or so on it. Not sure how that would cause the overflow bottle issue.
I have no doubt the overheating issue is just due to the mud on the rad itself.

I found this thread when I was searching online for a new rad for the 94. She's currently in the garage with the hood open and rad out. The seam on top finally gave way and once out, I could see the alot of the copper fins all corroded. I will post pics when I get the new rad and install.
Extreme, it's been almost a year or so, how has the Silla rad been holding up? I too, am seriously considering going this route also w a Silla aluminum. My OEM core measures 20.5"w x 17.75" h x 2" thick. So it is almost the same as Silla #7286aa (20.25"w x 17.75"h x 1.75" thick) like the one Extreme posted pics of and installed. I found the same one at ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Silla-Cooling-Replacement-Radiator-7286AA-/350708372327?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51a7d91367&vxp=mtr. Also at a site called Andysautosport. I also found a different one from Champion Radiators from a place called Rose City Radiator on Ebay. There is also a site called shepherdautoparts that have what appears to be Silla aluminum radiators.
But Silla #7287-2aa, which is listed on shepherds as coming soon and is also listed on andysautosport for $100.00, is 20.75"w x 17.75"h x 2" thick like the OEM I just pulled out which was 2" thick. It is also listed for the 89 - 95 2.4 liter motors and for heavy duty cooling. The hose outlets on my OEM rad are set up like the 7286aa but the outlets on the 7287-2aa are like the OEM rad that Extreme pulled out of his carbed 22r. Since he used the one for the v6, I am going to assume that I can use the other with the 2.4 (the rubber hoses are flexible, right?).
Shepherds list a lifetime warranty where Andys doesn't list it, so I am going to call tomorrow and find out how much shipping will be for the $100 rad (#7287-2aa) to Buffalo. I will let you guys know what I find out. I'm tired and if I confused anyone, I will try to post some pics of what I was talking about...because I know what I meant.
