side exit exhaust?

Thinking of running a straight pipe exhaust out the side of the cab behind the driver door. Then ill put a teardrop bezel to make it look clean, any opinions? I just think the exhaust looks so ugly sticking out behind the bed.

Just my opinion on how it looks. If you do it like in the pic you posted make sure you have enough room to allow it to move then the truck flexes. And you might have issues with it being so close to the paint.

i might just go for it and see what happens. im having the truck painted in a couple weeks so ill see how the factory paint reacts to it and if it doesn't take the heat well i can see what my options are as far as heat resistance goes

there are several people here who've done this on their rigs. look up side exhaust here or do a site specific google search and you'll find them. norcalsvx's blue pickup is one that comes to mind.
