Shifter moved to the floor

Hello I drive a 90 3.0 ext 2wd.It has an auto tranny and I really want to chang it from a column shift to be able to shift from the floor of the cab. Has anyone done this before or have any input on how I could make this work? Also if this could work anyone know where I could pick up parts for this?
Thanks

I just finished fitting a shifter assembly from a 2000 Tacoma but don't have it bolted in yet, so if you can wait until this weekend I'll send you some pictures and dimensions to get you started.

I re-read your first post and just noticed you have a 2WD. Those pictures I sent the other day show my old 4WD shifter. My bad.

Well I want to be able to put headers on it. But now I am scared there wont be enough room on either side. You can also contol the shift a lot safe on the floor then a three ft long shift. One time I put it in reverse on accident going 55.

I have a shifter assembly and all the linkages from a 94 if you want it. 4WD but you could just remove the TC part. Lever is tan color. PM me, I'll give it to you if you'll front the shipping.
