shaking at all speeds

Hey all.
I have a 87 Pickup w. 22r.

Its always had a rough ride going over bumps and what not, but the last couple of weeks have been horrible.

Its started shaking at all speeds, the alignment is off (pulls to the right) and the brakes pulse in time with the shaking. If its a smooth road, the shake isn't nearly as bad, but its still there. Also, it seems like I have more play in my steering, like 3+ inches each way.

My sway bar has been 1/2 hanging for awhile now (sheared one of the brackets), but this is a totally different feeling.

Im thinking U-Joint, Bearings, or Rotors?

oh boy, could be a handful of things

- tie-rod end/s
- idler arm
- pitman arm
- ball joint/s
- warped brake rotor/s
- wheel bearing/s

just start by checking each one at a time for play

grease everything up, and replace as needed

Mine did that, turned out to be the idler arm. $15 for bushings and dust seal from the dealer and it's good to go.

yeah idler arm is probably the real culprit; the OEM style plastic bushings ware in them and cause a LOT of slop in the steering

Ok, I'll just work my way around then and pay close attention to the idler arms.

Another question; whats the best way to remove a seized wheel nut?
