cobra, how do you like the quick release? does it affect the tilt steering? is there any side to side play in the QR parts?

NRG makes quality quick release kits. There's a lock system so no worries on the wheel coming off, lol.
Here's a few pics:

I don't have tilt steering in my truck so I can't answer that for you. The red on the wheel is plastic but the horn piece is metal. Call NRG for positive answers on any question.

no doubt. i was just curious about their stuff. i mainly wanted to know if was cheap chinese stuff or if it was indeed quality. i was planning a quick visit into the shop to actually feel the seat materials and steering wheel security options. wnated to know if it was worth the mission over their or shine it....so looks not bad, so will report back what i find out when i go down there.

IllToy-- is that the short or long hub type.
looks great.
i want the stearing lock especially.
and may even install a safe for the wheel in the cabin. (or at least a dual point lock down area to keep it from leaving.
gotta love theft prevention.
other than leaving a months bus pass on the windsheild for would be thieves, that is a great idea.

I am having a little difficulty determining what hub type I need, I'm not too sure what the difference is, but I would like to install one of these steering wheels on my '82. Can anyone throw some advise my way?
