I think this has been asked quite a few times but search is always wack and never gives me the answers I want, so here it goes, Im going to do an sas coversion and wondering what axel I should run in the front? On a pretty tight budget so best quality for the price, how much would this axel runa nd where could I find it, thanks.

Most go with the Toy axle from 85' and earlier Toys...try Pirate, 60%? or so of those rigs run Toy axles.

Nothing to do with your SAS, but why do people call it "an SAS" instead of "a SAS"?

ive never seen it as "an SAS" but if i did, it would be most likely because they are saying each letter "an S-A-S" and since an S is like "es", the "an" would be justified

As far as axles, 84 and 85 axles are ideal as they have more gussetting. But any axle 79-85 will work.

Just remember to get wheel spacers or it'll look like mine when your done. They're narrower than a late model.

94toyota4x4, there is a reason I put your other thread into the newbie section and that is because this topic is as old as dirt itself. If you don't know the answer you haven't searched enough and I don't believe you when you said the search doesn't work. Please continue with your research and then ask your more advanced questions and I'll be glad to help you. Also be sure to search around on Pirate4x4. You will have to pay for the ability to search, but $20 is going to pale in comparison to the cost of a SAS and it is well worth it.
