Rusted shock mount

I'm in the middle of a bed off restoration and ran into a problem. One of the shock mounts is badly rusted and I'm afraid when I put the new shocks on they won't move as freely as they should. I don't want to go through the trouble of cutting off the whole bracket, either. Thought about looking for something like the mount itself to weld back on. From what I can tell it's either a 7/16" or 11 mm bolt that goes through the 3/4" or 19 mm sleeve. I'd appreciate anyone would could suggest a fix or confirm the hardware size.

Thanks

If there is no fear of it breaking off, I would just clean it up with a wire wheel on a drill, grease it up, and put it back together. There is hardly any rotation on that stud as the suspension cycles.

Red face

I think you have your work cut out.

What does the rest of the under carriage look like .

Looks like time for some sand blasting

I think some new bolts for the shocks will help much.
