Running light issue..

Hey guys. I recently purchased my first toyota about 3 months ago.. a 92 4runner. I recently noticed as soon as i remove the parking brake the running lights(tail lights & corner lights) come on, and i havent even turned them on... is this normal, or do i have a cross in my electrical somewhere?

*edit* i did try searching *edit*

thanks!
Bret

do they also switch with the key? (eg with key off and brake off, are they on?)

Almost sounds like a weird DRL setup, aftermarket i'd assume.

Mine is the same way. If you leave the e-brake 1 click on they won't turn on. I like it because somtimes I forget to turn mine off.

My headlights, marker and tails come on.
